Can we reserve a park?: Lions Pavilion only. Contact the City Clerk’s office at 231-398-2803, visit City Hall, 70 Maple Street, or email the deputy clerk at llaurain@manisteemi.gov. The Lions Pavilion is available for rent half days (either 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; or 5:00 pm – 11:00pm) or full days. City residents/property owners may begin reserving the Lions Pavilion on January 2^nd annually with a cost of $50/half day or $100/full day. Non-Residents may begin reserving the Lions Pavilion on April 1^st annually with a cost of $75/half day or $150/full day.

2. What day does yard waste get picked up?: Leaf bags are picked up on Tuesdays, beginning late April/early May through late October. Brush is picked up on Fridays, beginning late April/early May through late October but must be called in to the DPW, 231-723-7132.

4. When is bulk leaf pick up?: Bulk leaf piles will be picked up weekly, late fall. Watch for the announcement of the beginning of this yearly program on social media and in the local newspaper.

9. Where to get boat launch permit?: They can be purchased at the launches, receipt must be brought to City Hall or Manistee Municipal Marina for sticker if an annual pass was purchased.

10. How do I get a bulky item picked up?: On bulky item is picked up on your first refuse pickup of the month, please see details here. If you have multiple bulky items or need to get rid of a bulky item at other times during the month, tags are available for purchase at City Hall.

13. Where are the dog friendly locations?: Dog park is located at First Street Beach. Dog friendly beaches at North Beach Access and between the South Breakwater pier and Stub pier.

14. What are the Marina fuel prices and slip availability?: Call or email the Marina, 231-723-1552 or marina@manisteemi.gov.

15. How do I get my sidewalk repaired?: Property owners are responsible for sidewalks; City has an assistance program.

16. How do I get my street repaired?: Please refer to the city's Transportation Improvement Plan, which is included in the annual budget document here.
